Police have confirmed they found a woman identified as Natukunda Sharon who has been missing for weeks after she reportedly run away from her matrimonial home.
Recently, media ran a story of disappearance of a one Natukunda Sharon a 29 year old a house wife and a resident of Kigowa 1 in Bukoto two parish Nakawa Kampala District.
On December 16, 2024 the victim disappeared from their matrimonial home in kigowa village, Ntinda parish, Nakawa division Kampala and went to unknown destination prompting her parents to register a case of disappearence at Ntinda police station.
Police investigation to trace her where about commenced immediately. Yesterday January 13, 2025 at around 1150 hrs information reached police indicating that the victim was sighted at Kabaga -Kayanga a village in Kitezi parish Kasangati division in Wakiso district.
A team of police officers traced her in Kiteezi at the office of the chairman local council.
Natukunda sharon led Police officers to where she was renting which was about 200 meters from chairman’s place.
In an interview with her she attributes her disappearance to domestic violence perpetuated by the husband. According to Police, Natukunda has been conveyed to hospital for medical attention.
