Police at Kabalagala in kampala are investigating a fatal accident which happened last night along Ggaba road claiming one person and left two others seriously injured.

The accident happened at around 9pm on Semakula Stage on Ggaba-Munyonyo Road and involved a Tipper Forward registration number UBF 997V and two motorcycles UEN 888Q, UEH 814G and a building.

According to the Deputy Spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Police Luke Owoyesigyire, the driver of the tipper lost control and the vehicle rammed into parked motorcycles and a building. Richard Musoke who was driving the tipper died on the spot, owoyesigyire said.

The body of the deceased driver was plied out of the wreckage and taken for a postmortem at Kampala Capital City Authority mortuary at Mulago.

Two yet to be identified victims have been rushed to St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya, for treatment.

All motorcycles and motor vehicle have been towed to police yard pending inspection, according to Owoyesigyire.
