Contrary to what many people thought, President Museveni’s controversial Advisor on Media, Joseph Tamale Mirundi has said he cannot be excited just because his boss has given him a brand new vehicle.
Mirundi says, the new vehicle is not his personal vehicle since is it not a donation and therefore he can’t be excited. He said the new vehicle is replacing the old office vehicle which became unroadworthy almost a year ago.
Tamale Mirundi was a few days ago given a brand Pajero Model 2018, despite his “zig-zag” allegiance to President Museveni, with at times being heard praising his boss’ potential fiercest contender, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
“I am the presidential advisor of the president since I have never been dismissed! But what happens if they refuse to renew my contract tomorrow? They will come and take it, and i will surrender it” he said.
He said if he had been given a log book for the new vehicle, he would consider it as a send off package which is not the case.
“Do I have its card? what will happen if they (govt) employ someone who badly needs it? They will take it! Besides, I have many vehicles at my home; I am not a poor man” Mirundi said.
He however vowed never to step in office saying he cant allow himself to be tossed and humiliated by “a group of mafias in government.”
