Unlike other artistes and comedians who cried out to government to come to their rescue in these tough times, stand-up comedy duo Madrat and Chiko have expressed themselves as exceptionally generous fellows in the COVID-19 crisis.
This is after the duo decided to use some of their savings to give back 10 tonnes of maize flour to their fans.
The duo paraded a truck full of relief food that they handed over to the National Task Force in efforts to help the government feed many Ugandans staying home under lockdown.
We hope fellow artistes and comedians will emulate this gestures and do the same to their fans after the pair set the pace though at personal will.
“If the situation doesn’t calm down so fast , we may not hold our annual NSEKO BUSEKO comedy show.” The comedians also said.
May God bless their loving hearts.
