KAMPALA, UGANDA: 02 April 2026– In a significant move to bolster the economic landscape of Uganda, the Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women (GROW) Project has intensified its efforts to scale up women-owned enterprises through specialized “Business Clinics.”
The initiative, a flagship program of the Government of Uganda, is being implemented by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development in partnership with the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU). With strategic backing from the World Bank, the project aims to bridge the gender gap in the business sector by increasing the productivity and competitiveness of female-led firms nationwide.

The newly highlighted GROW Women’s Business Clinics are designed to be more than just classrooms; they are hubs for transformation. Recognizing that technical knowledge must be paired with self-assurance, the clinics focus on strengthening both business skills and confidence.
