NANSANA WAKISO 24 November 2024: 2 pupils have been confirmed dead and 5 others injured in a fatal crash today at Kabulengwa village Nansana involving M/v UBA 104G Isuzu Elfu & Juvenile pedestrians.
According to the Community Liaison Officer Traffic Police, Michael Kananura, the incident which happened at around 9:30am involved pupils at Golden Hearts Primary School.
The incident occurred when the said vehicle loaded with plastic chairs while climbing a hilly muram road lost control and moved backward rammed into juvenile pedestrians who were moving in an opposite direction. The incident resulted into instant death of 2 and injuring 5 others.
The victims have been rushed to st . Joseph’s hospital Wakiso while the deceased were conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary according to Kananura.
The Vehicle was towed to Lubigi police. Inquires at hand.
