The 25th National Prayer Breakfast will this year host over 1500 people -this website has learnt.
While addressing the press at parliament, the State Minister of Industry Hon David Bahati who also doubles as the chairperson of the Organising committee of the prayers said that the aim of this event is to enable every citizen dedicate the nation in God’s hands.
Under the theme: ” Fear not repent and serve God” the national prayer breakfast will be held at State House Entebbe on the 8th October.
Bahati said that this prayer is organised to enable Ugandans repent and ask forgiveness from God where things have not gone well.
Kyaka Central MP Hon. Tom Bright Amooti appealed to Ugandans to support the activity from wherever they may be and thank God for protecting us from many challenges such as COVID- 19.
Ntoroko district Woman MP. Hon. Anna Mary Kobugabe Tumwine a representative of the Annual Women’s Forum said that forum members have organised a special prayer at Parliament on Saturday so that women can come and join the prayer as Ugandans pray for peace and stability of the country.
Kobugabe added that since women are the last Born’s of God, they should come so and pray for Uganda together as they join the National Prayer Breakfast the next day which is a Sunday.
