In another note purportedly signed by Gen Salim Saleh Akandwanaho, the author insist the Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago must apologize or be squeezed more.
This follows a handwritten note which went viral this week threatening the Lord Mayor to either apologize or lose the support he has allegedly been getting from Gen. Salim Saleh.
The Lord Mayor has since disputed the contents in the note and filed a case in the High Court of Kampala challenging the publication of the note in The New Vision newspaper and seeking compensation for damages amounting to 100million Uganda Shillings.
However, in the latest note written in a similar handwriting and seemingly plucked from the same notebook, the author insists he will actually take Erias Lukwago to court for involving Greenland Investments Ltd in the whole saga.
The author who we can only speculate his true identity says he is the one who paid the most recent legal fees for the “cause” and will seek much more compensation than what the Lord Mayor asked from New Vision.
The author however says he is waiting for the apology from the Kampala City Lord Mayor.
“I am glad you have raised the Green Land Investments Ltd story. I will be one of the biggest benefactors of this compensation. I am the one who paid the most recent legal fees for the cause.” the note states in part.
Bellow is a copy of the note:
