Ugandan top businessman, Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige, commonly known as BMK is dead.
BMK, a reknown entrepreneur, and hotel owner investor died from Nairobi, Kenya after along illness.
At the time of his death, BMK was the Chief Executive Officer of Hotel Africana in Kampala.
He was 68 years old. Initial reports indicate that BMK has been battling cancer.
A seasoned businessman, Bulaimu also founded a number of businesses including under BMK Group including Hotel Africana Kampala, 2-4 Wampewo Avenue, Kololo Hill, Hotel Africana Moroto, Hotel Africana Lusaka, Lusaka, Zambia BMK Motorcycles (U) Limited, Nateete, BMK Motorcycles (K) Limited, Nairobi, Kenya BMK Motorcycles (T) Limited, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, BMK Motorcycles (R) Limited, Kigali, Rwanda BMK Motorcycles (Z) Limited, Lusaka, Zambia.
He also owned Hotel Africana Forex Bureau 1, Hotel Africana Forex Bureau 2,
BMK Construction Leasing Company, Kigali, Rwanda, BMK Oil Equipment Company, Kampala, Uganda among others.
