The newly elected Kayunga District chairperson Ffefeka Serubogo has been found dead.
A National Unity Platform (NUP) member, Serubogo was today found dead hanging on a tree behind his home in Kyebujja Sub County, Kayunga District.
Ag District Police Commander for Mukono Hellen Kyomuhendo said Serubogo’s lifeless body was found hanging on a tree by relatives.
His home has been cordoned off as police kicks off investigations to ascertain the truth behind Serubogo’s death.
A Buganda Kingdom diehard, Serubogo has been vocal against corruption and land grabbing which is rife in Kayunga District.
