Remember Mr Mice? Or hit tracks such as Fagilia, Kidalipo and kikulacho? Lucas Mkenda Alias Mr. Nice ruled the Kenyan & Tanzanian airwaves at the start of this century but faded away giving way to Ali Kiba and Diamond Platnumz.

For some time now, Mr. Niece decided to silently relocate to Uganda. In a live video that he did on his Instagram, Nice revealed that he feels more valued in Kampala, Uganda compared to his home country.

“I prefer staying where I make money than staying home so you can continue laughing at me” Mr. Niece said.

The Bongo Flava has been residing in Kampala for the last two years. Incidentally, he remained in Uganda by default after a promoter who had invited him for a performance promised to settle his dues thereafter.

The singer also lashed back at his haters in Tanzania who called him broke saying he even walks around with money stashed in his car boot.

“Having cash in your wallet or bank account does not mean you have it all, have you ever travelled with money in your car boot? I have done it all” Mr.Nice concluded.
