Everywhere he goes, trouble seems to follow him. This time round, renown entertainer and events emcee Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats had his contract with Pearl of Africa Hotel for his night show terminated on Wednesday.
Mc Kats had a month earlier transferred his Night Show from Kololo-based Fame lounge to Pearl Of Africa Hotel. This came after the self- proclaimed ‘king of the mic’s contract with Fame Lounge got terminated for failing to deliver according to management expectations, accumulating many debts, and disrespect.
In a statement released by the hotel management, the termination of the contract was by mutual consent between management and Mc Kats. Blogs however have it that The Nbs After 5 presenter was fired from the Pearl of Africa hotel after falling out with his bosses just like he did before he fell out with management of Fame Lounge.
Through his Instagram, Mc Kats said the reason why the contract was terminated was because he could not battle competition from other bars that sell beer at a lower price, since Pearl of Africa hotel is a 5 Star with a higher pricing, and not fired as it is being reported. He said he just quit.
