MUBENDE DISTRICT: 19 JULY 2026-The NRM Team Leader for Greater Mubende sub-region, Amb. James Kinobe, today convened a strategic meeting of party leaders at Joyce Hotel in Mubende Municipality to bolster grassroots mobilisation.
The meeting drew key officials from across the sub-region—including Mubende, Mityana, Kasanda, Kiboga, and Kyankwanzi districts. Attendees included Members of Parliament, NRM district chairpersons, LC V chairpersons, Women League leaders, and other party cadres, all focused on readying party structures for the upcoming Village Women Council and LC I elections.
Delivering a message from the NRM National Chairman, H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Amb. Kinobe urged leaders to mobilize massive support for party candidates across all grassroots contests.
He further reminded leaders to rally members for the upcoming village barazas scheduled for July 22, which serve as key mobilization platforms for party flag bearers. Amb. Kinobe urged all NRM members to turn out in large numbers and vote exclusively for NRM candidates in the Village Women Council elections on July 23 and the LC I Chairperson elections on July 28, 2026.
