On Monday evening, this website published a report that Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira, the former host of a popular show “One On One with Tamale Mirundi” was qutting Next Media to join politics.

Well, today we are here to confirm that the pair started a new show at STV dubbed “SHARP TALK WITH TAMALE MIRUNDI” which will be airing every Tuesday from 9-11am.

The debut show aired on Tuesday morning but on short notice line on STV.

On Monday evening, NBS Television issued a press release announcing the departure of Kazibwe Bashir claiming he had quit to concentrate on his political career.

Kazibwe who also doubles as the Uganda Journalists Association ( UJA ) president is contesting as Kawempe South Constituency member of Parliament in the 2021 general elections.

Tamale Mirundi threw in the towel at the Kamwokya-based TV station over claims that the station’s was boss sharing notes with the “mafia’s” that Tamale always hit hard in the balls whenever he steps on the set.

Rumor has it that Kazibwe Bashir also threw in the towel at Vision groups Bukedde FM where he hosted a daily show as he hasn’t appeared for a week now.

News in corridors also indicate that he resigned at NBS after being lured with a buttered bread at STV, but management covered it all with the politics claim.

It should be noted that Kazibwe, aside from his show on Tuesday morning with Tamale Mirundi, he will own the time slot of 9-11am Monday to Friday with a show dubbed ‘KBM LIVE” still on STV.
