NTV’s “Mwasuze Mutya” Morning show host, Faridah Nakazibwe must have spent a joyous Eid evening after her former workmate turned foe, Justine Nameere declared an end to the cat-fight between the two by revealing that she had forgiven her.

The two media personalities have been at loggerheads since 2016 when Nakazibwe reportedly accused Nameere of using pseudo Facebook accounts to pass on false allegations about her relationship with her ex-husband Umar Ssali.

However, Nameere trashed the rumors and told Nakazibwe to sort herself with the hubby. In 2018, Nakazibwe took to her Facebook accused Nameere of trying to wreck her marriage.

The saga escalated into both parties inviting police, then arrests, and court.

In due process, police investigators asked Nakazibwe to produce evidence and produce her husband, but she failed because the husband was a no show.

It is then that Court advised the two to consider an out-of-court settlement of the matter.

As the negotiations went on, Nakazibwe told Nameere that she had found out the truth; Nameere claimed Nakazibwe told her that it was her husband, Ssali, who used to open up fake accounts and send himself messages.

Nakazibwe also revealed that she separated with Ssali after finding out the truth.

After the apology and revelation, Nameere gave Nakazibwe 90 days to retract statements she had posted on the FB page.

After the 90 days with no reaction from Nakazibwe, Nameere went public and revealed what has been transpiring in the public arena for the last 2 or so weeks.

Last evening however, Nameere took to her Facebook page and declared that she had forgiven Faridah Nakazibwe.

We hope this is not just a ceasefire, but a permanent peace agreement.
