On bended knees; Pastor Bugingo proposing to Susan Makula

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, the lead pastor at House of Prayer Ministries International and the proprietor of Salt Media has finally made a commitment to his Susan Makula for a hand in marriage.

Bugingo made a formal proposal during Night prayers at Mandella National Stadium on October 4, 2019 in presence of a Bugingo’s close confidants. Independence Night prayers are annual prayers organized by House of prayer ministries. The proposal according to sources was made in the boardroom of the stadium shortly after midnight before he took to the pulpit to preach.

It is a reason sources say, why Bugingo decided to invite his parents all the way from Rwanda to attend this particular event. The same event was attended by Bugingo’s two younger sisters. With one knee bent, Bugingo made a marriage proposal to Susan with whom they have been in a secret relationship for over four years.

It has also been confirmed that Bugingo’s initial plan was to introduce Susan to the congregation in the stadium but this changed after Bukedde newspaper pre-empted his intentions and broke the story. He then decided to introduce Susan to his parents and close confidants as his fiancé. That same night, Bugingo knelt before his parents for a blessing in presence of Pastor Simeon Kayiwa of Namirembe Fellowship

His plan to wed with Susan however faces one last hurdle which is a petition he filed in court seeking to divorce his estranged wife Teddy Naluswa with whom he was in marriage for 29 years, and bore four children. Sources at Lungujja-based Salt Media have confirmed that dates have been set for introduction and weeding, court petitions withstanding.

Ms Naluswa had filed an application seeking for the dismissal of the case stating that her husband had wrongly filed on basis of matrimonial property which she said far exceeds its jurisdiction.
