Kisenyi-based Christianity Focus Center Church’s lead pastor Bishop David Kiganda today survived a nasty accident that left his 500million SUV turned into a piece of scrap.
The accident according to his wife Pastor Cindy Kiganda happened at Bamunanika, Luwero District along Kampala-Gulu highway.
Bishop David Kiganda was travelling to attend a burial ceremony in Nakaseke, Luwero District together with his driver Juuko Enock, Journalist Mugasa Robert, Ottieno Emmanuel kiganda’s aide.
The cause of the accident according to a source was over-speeding. It has been established that the tyre of the car he was travelling in burst, sending the vehicle rolling several times before hitting a tree.
The 500million SUV Lexus bearing customized number plates “Bishop 1” is now a write off.
Miraculously, all the occupants of the vehicle walked out by themselves but sustained minor injuries for which they are being attended to in hospitals around Kampala.
His wife said Bishop Kiganda is out of danger and currently being attended to in an undisclosed hospital in Kampala. She said, her husband thanked God for saving his life and that he has been preserved for a purpose.
It has however been also confirmed that this is not the first time Bishop Kiganda is surviving a nasty accident following another one that happened way back in 2007 when a car he was travelling in veered off the road and rolled several times. He also sustained minor injuries.
