A passenger bus owned by Link Bus Services was today morning involved in a nasty accident with at least 20 people confirmed dead and several others injured.
Uganda Police said the fatal accident which happened at 10:30 involved Link Bus registration number UBA 003S Sebitoli along Kampala-Fortportal Highway about 2KM from Fortportal city.
According to police, the bus was travelling from Fortportal to Kampala when it lost control and overturned several times killing 20 out of whom 13 are adults and 7 juveniles.
The injured were rushed to Buhinga Hospital for first aid while the dead were also taken there for postmortem.
