Gen Muhoozi’s handwritten note in tribute to Rwanda Genocide victims leaks

UPDF commander of the Land forces Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba today paid a moving tribute to the victims of Rwanda genocide in which close to one million people perished.

Gen Muhoozi who is currently on a private visit to Rwanda, paid the tribute during a special visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial center -a home of over 250,000 victims of the 1994 Genocide against Tusti.

In a handwritten note signed by himself Gen. Muhoozi said;

“I am very moved by this memorial to the great crime of genocide against the people of Rwanda in 1994. I thank the government of Rwanda under the leadership of HE Paul Kagame for establishing this museum so that the future generations will never make the mistakes of the past.

Gen. Muhoozi was led on a tour around the Genocide Memorial and later laid a wreath in tribute to the victims.
