The ruling NRM party Director in charge Mobilization and a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) Hon Mathias Kasamba is dead.
According to the NRM Secretary General, Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba, Kasamba died at Nakasero Hospital where he had been hospitalized. In a brief communication, Hon Lumumba however did not specify what could have been the cause of the legislators demise.
“The NRM Secretariat regrets to announce the passing on of our colleague, Hon Mathias Kasamba, the Director of Mobilisation and Cadre Identification, and member of the East African Legislative Assembly. We are in touch with the family and Nakasero Hospital where he had been hospitalized. We shall keep you posted about any future developments. May his soul rest in peace.’ Hon Lumumba wrote.
