11 new coronavirus cases in Uganda; all are truck drivers from Kenya and Tanzania

11 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Uganda.

All 11 are foreign truck drivers. 6 of the confirmed cases are Tanzanians who arrived in the country through Mutukula and five are Kenyans who entered through Busia and Malaba.

This brings the total number of positive cases in Uganda to 74.

MOH said the new cases arose from 1331 samples tested on Thursday at Uganda Virus Research Institute. The ministry say none of the registered cases had symptoms consistent with COVID 19.

46 patients have so far recovered from coronavirus in Uganda, and no death has been confirmed yet.
