President Museveni Kaguta has appointed Justice Jane Frances Abodo as the new Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Justice Abodo was attached to the Criminal Division of the High Court by the time of her appointment.
She replaces Justice Mike Chibita who was appointed to the Supreme Court in December 2019.
