First son Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba has expressed disappointment over police’s failure to arrest revelers who threw bottles at musician Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool during a music concert. He said he expects police to arrest culprits next time.

On Saturday evening, Bebe Cool was pelted with bottles by angry revelers while performing on stage at a music concert at Luggogo Cricket Oval, in Kampala.

Gen. Muhoozi wondered how police can allow such an embarrassing act to happen to Bebe Cool while police is just watching.

“How could Uganda Police allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda’s greatest artists?” he querried in a message he posted on social media.

It is however evident the revelers’ anger is attached to Bebe’s political affiliations, as musicians opposed to government are not allowed to freely perform at concerts. Bebe is a known supporter of the ruling government NRM.

Gen. Muhoozi said the same hooligans beat up women yesterday “for simply loving” President Museveni, and said he expects police to stop such incidents next time. Muhoozi is the son of the incumbent president Yoweri Museveni.

“We expect a lot better from Uganda Police next time” he added.
