Uganda Police retires 274 officers

A total of 274 Police officers have been retired from the Uganda police force. The retiring officers have clocked retirement age of 55.

The sendoff ceremony of retiring 278 officers from active service at Police headquarters Nagulu on Friday.

The IGP Martin Okoth Ochola and other senior officers escorted them to the gate and bid farewell to them to symbolize their new life.

AIGP Jesse Kamunanwire Director HRM UPF) who attended the event thanked retiring officers for a job well done and the ultimate sacrifice they made for the country.
