The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abbas Byakagaba today announced transfers and appointments in the police force removing AIGP Musana Godfrey from the Directorate of Welfare, Production and Sports to the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan as Police attache.
In the latest appointments, SCP Sakira Moses was moved from the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan to oversee the Directorate of Research and Planning as the Deputy Director.
Other senior officers affected by the new changes include SCP Halango Timothy from the Directorate of Research and Planning to the Directorate of Welfare Production and Sports as Deputy Director, CP Mubangizi Ben from the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety to Algeria as Police Attache, CP Ssebambulide Charles from Agriculture Police to the Directorate of Logistics and Engineering as Deputy Director Classified stores, CP Acayi Philip from the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety to Agriculture Police as commandant.
However, ACP Norman Musinga who has been the RPC Busoga East has been returned to the Traffic and Road Safety Directorate where he will now serve as Deputy Director.
