Outspoken Media analyst and former Presidential Press Secretary Tamale Mirundi has passed on.
Mirundi passed on at Kisubi hospital on Tuesday, where he had been admitted since last month with serious illness.
Tamale (60) worked for 12 years as president Yoweri Museveni’s press secretary and at the time of his death he was serving as a senior presidential advisor on media.
A well trained journalist, Mirundi attended Lubaga Secondary School for O and A level education and later joined Makerere University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. He thereafter attained a Master’s degree from Makerere University.
He worked for various media houses as a part time writer including Munno newspaper.
