2 years ago, on June 7th, 2008, legendary Ugandan singer Jospeh Mayanja aka Jose Chameleon, wedded his long time lover Daniella Atim in a lavish colorful ceremony.
Over the weekend, the couple celebrated 12 years marriage anniversary and the singer took to his Social media to pen down a message to his lovely wife.
“Happy 12 years marriage anniversary Mama Abba, so many memories still roll in my mind and am thankful that I found a friend who gave me her whole and together we made a beautiful family. Love you all. It’s all wishes for now but at least the reality we did. See you when lockdown is done. Happy anniversary my bestie. Thanks for being a strong mother and wonderful wife . The couple is blessed with five children, three boys and two girls who now stay in the USA where Chameleon bought for them a house last year to live in.
Just like any other marriage, their’s too has not been a bucket of roses, and being celebrities, most of their marital and family secrets have leaked to the public through the media but the two have managed to keep together as husband and wife.
In 2017, Daniella almost quit the marriage when she filed for divorce at Nakawa Magistrates court citing brutality. The pair managed to settle their differences and re-united.
The couple got married in 2008 and their wedding redefined Show-biz weddings as it was the most flamboyant and lavish event of that year with a private chopper flying the newly weds from St James Catholic Church in Biina where they made their matrimony vows to the luxurious Kampala Serena Hotel where they hosted their friends and family for a reception.
We wish them happiness and more years of their love life.
