The former Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Philip Wafula Ogutu’s wife Alice Ogutu has passed on.
According to family sources, Alice Ogutu succumbed to cancer last night at the age of 61 and the deceased has been battling the disease for several years.
Alice died at Three Rivers Hospital located in Wandegeya where she had been admitted a day after her health has deteriorated.
Sources indicate that the body of Mrs Alice Oguttu will be brought to their residence at Martyr’s Way, Ntinda, for a church service and overnight vigil.
On Monday, a church service will be held at St. Luke C.O.U in Ntinda, followed by the departure of the funeral procession to Saanika village, located in Nankoma sub-county, Bugiri District.
