Minister for Information, Communication Technology (ICT) and National Guidance Chris Baryomunsi has said his life is now out of danger and therefore his friends should not worry about his health condition.
Baryomunsi who is currently in Mulago Hospital was yesterday airlifted from his home district of Kanungu in critical health condition after he collapsed at an event.
In a message posted on his Twitter account today afternoon, the minister who is also NRM Vice Chairman for Western Region attributed the incident to work overload as he was moving from one Church function to another without rest.
“Friends, yesterday I had a black out while in my constituency. I was moving from one church function to another. I was rushed to Kambuga Hosp and then airlifted to Mulago Hospital. Am now stable and out of danger. The medical team is carrying out further tests. No need to worry.” He stated.
Baryomunsi who is also the area MP for Kinkizi East recently castigated politicians for early campaigns saying they should concentrate on development work other than spending much time on politics.
