Don Wanyama has been appointed the Chief Executive for New Vision.
The Senior Press Secretary to H.E. President Museveni will take over from Robert Kabushenga who resigned in january.
On Tuesday, the editor in chief of the Vision Group of newspapers, Barbara Kaija shared a link on Twitter confirming the appointment.
Robert Kabushenga on Friday, January 29, 2021, announced that he will step down as Vision Group Chief Executive Officer, having served at the state-owned media company since 2007.
Kabushenga, who took over from William Pike in 2007, announced that he was resigning from his role to concentrate on farming and other personal projects.
In a tweet, Robert Kabushenga congratulated Don Wanyama upon getting “one of the best jobs” in Uganda.
