The chairman of the ruling party in Uganda, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Rtd. Gen Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni Kaguta has established a call center to manage constant communication with party mobilizers ahead of the 2021 general elections.

Museveni says he has been receiving political concerns from NRM mobilizers during the COVID-19 lockdown but could not reach out to all of them. He says, as a way out, he has established a toll free call center where his staff will manage the concerns for his attention.

Museveni says, the toll-free line 0800320320 will assist him and the party mobilizers to share important information for the good of the party and the nation.

Museveni who has been in power for the last 34 years is seeking re-election for another 5-year term as president which will see him extend his rule to 40 years in 2026.

The NRM party recently endorsed Museveni as the sole flagbearer in general elections slated for early next year having went through unchallenged.
