Identities of 7 newly confirmed Coronavirus cases emerge, One is a 10 year old.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has published identities of 7 new cases of COVID-19 in Uganda, which were confirmed last evening.

The first case is a 30 year-old Ugandan female, resident of Bunga Kampala, who arrived from Dubai, UAE on 18th March 2020. Other six are:

A 26 year-old Ugandan female, resident of Mutungo Kampala, who arrived from United Kingdom on 20th March 2020.

A 10 year-old male, resident of Suubi, Bulenga in Wakiso who arrived from United Kingdom on 20th March 2020.

A 25 year-old female, resident of Kungu, Najjera, who arrived from United Kingdom on 20th March 2020.

A 59 year-old Ugandan male, resident of Senero, Kalangala who arrived from United States on 12th March 2020.

A 33 year-old Ugandan male, resident of Naluvule Wakiso District who arrived from Dubai, UAE on 19th March 2020.

A 25 year-old Ugandan female, resident of Gayaza, Wakiso District who arrived from United Kingdom on 20th March 2020.

The MOH also indicated that a total of 1,001 are still under follow-up, 812 of whom are under institutional quarantine, while 189 are under self quarantine.

At the time of this publication, Uganda had reported 30 confirmed cases of coronavirus, and MOH confirmed that all are in stable condition.
